Kaisley has taken leaps and bounds this past week...ToOTh??? FoOd....a

Well we had a Terrific weekend, because my lovely sisters Mary and Kristie and can't forget sweet little Elly...came for a nice weekend visit!  While they were here Kaisley got her first taste of solids...she loved it as I suspected, she is always wanting to eat our food...reaching for it with all her strength and at any chance she can get!  Kristie helped by holding her, we probably should get a highchair...maybe later when she is a little bigger.  Oh, and I can't forget she cut her very first tooth, I didn't even know she was teething!  I think that her other bottom tooth is coming in as well.  Oh, and I think she is about to take off any day now with the whole crawling thing...she is doing the backwards move now but she is getting on all fours and is a rockin...I hope she decides to back off of the whole crawling thing for now because I like that I don't have to baby proof my house.  Well that's the update for now...stay tuned!

Well lets see what is new with Kaisley, she is now completely sitting up on her own and she is now moving...yeah I found this out in not the best way...I was at my friend's house and it was nap time so I thought I would lay her down on her large king sized bed, well about an hour later my friend heard her crying and went in to check on her...and she had fallen off the bed!  yeah I know I am not the best mom but she decided she wants to move backwards and now she is getting into crawling position and rocking back and forth so I will not be putting her on any ones bed anymore!  I felt so awful...but she was fine just little mad at me for letting something so scary happen....so so sorry Kaisley.  Well other than the falling episode life is just grand, just a lot of Christopher study and me being a mama....

We finally got to meet our best friends Mike and Nicoles baby for the first time!  He was sooo Handsome great work you two!  It was so cute, Kaisley was fasinated by him and she couldn't keep her hands off of sweet River...We miss you guys so much and wish we still lived next door :(  Maybe again someday in the future....I couldn't get over how big Kaisley looked next to a newborn....my do they grow quickly! 

This is for Grandma June...thanks for the Bumbo it has been a lifesaver!  Oh and also thanks for the PJ's they are so soft and snuggly.  Kaisley especially likes sitting in this watching me cook she thinks it's pretty cool!

We had a great time last weekend and are already looking forward for SPRING BREAK!!!!

Weekly Update!

She has just started attacking me lately, let me tell you she doesn't play soft....she has little daggers for fingers!

Well Kaisley is growing by the minute....and changing like crazy.  I can't believe how quickly they learn, well lets see what new things Kaisley has discovered lately....well lets just say she knows she has a voice, she loves to do this screamin thing...that definately comes with being a girl!  And she love her toes, it was like one day she was like these are great and they are always there to play with, she especially likes it when they are sock less so she can suck on them it is great...it just makes changing her diaper a bit challenging.  Kaisley is now starting  to notice that there are other little people just like her, she gets to play with her buddies, Joe and Jaycee!  It's is getting more fun because they are actually starting to play!  Well that about sums up our week....

A brief undate!

Well life is great here at the Minert's...Kaisley is getting so close to sitting up...it is so cute, still a little tippsy....but she thinks she is such a big girl.  Kaisley and I are keeping pretty busy doing little projects, playing, cleaning, and of course sleeping...Kaisley loves to sleep!  I am so lucky she lets mommy get a lot of stuff done, including time for me to be creative....I included a picture of my latest project because it turned out so cute, Mary I thought of you while making it, I will have to show you how to make it the next time I come home!  Well hope everyone is staying warm this crazy winter season....can we think SPRING yet....the cold and snow are really getting old!  We may be in for a very long winter, especially here in Poky!

Here is my lovely brooch I made...isn't beautiful!  Thanks to Etsy I was able to make a friend already, in Omaha...the lady who sold me this kit lives there and gave me an invite to go to craft/art night with her...she is an amazing artist and seamstress, I can't wait to go!  I have a few more colors...won't this look so cute on Kaisley...
