A Few projects I've been up to...

Finally I am showing you Kaisleys big girl room! Kaisley loves her new bed, and I had a lot of fun making it special for her! The other project I did would never of happened if it wasn't for my amazing talented mother! While we were home in Boise a few months ago, I had my mom help me sew the cushion cover, well it fit like a glove and I was so pleased with the outcome! After a lot of elbow grease, achy back from bending over in strange positions, lots of sand paper, tons of staples, two coats of nasty toxic stripper, and one can of my new favorite product BRIWAX...I can now say it was all worth it!!

Kaisley's new BIG girl room!

The Before...
And After!
I am in love! I told Chris we will never get rid of this chair, I put way to much time and effort into making it exactly what I wanted that I don't think I could ever part!
I can finally say it was all worth it!
I was wondering...for a while if I should of just chucked it in the dumpster!

Happy Mother's Day!

(Only one missing is Mary...she must have been taking the photo)
I came across this picture today and was reminded of that very special evening I spent with all the women who I love and look up to so dearly...gave me the most encouraging love, support, and most of all inspiration; just a few weeks before I became a Mother.
Being a Mother is the most wonderful calling in the world and I am so happy to have a day to celebrate all the amazing women who have made me the mother I am today. So Mom, Jenelle, Mary, Cindy, Kristie, Emily, Grandma, Fay, Amy, and Julie I am thinking of all of you on this special day...you all have a special place in my heart and have helped me be the woman and mother I am today. I wish we could all celebrate together but we can't and so I just get to pretend ;) I miss you all so much and am so proud and grateful to be apart of such a powerful and loving sisterhood! Happy Mama's Day to you all!

Easter! A week late...

Okay, there are a ton of pictures in this post! We had so many festivities for Easter, I couldn't leave any of them out. Enjoy!

I had a Easter Party for Kaisley and some of her friends, it was a lot of fun...but I think Kaisley may appreciate it more when shes a little older, having 5 extra kiddos around in one room doing "projects", is a bit challenging I must admit...All in all it was so much fun.

Kaisley, Cambrie, Hunter, Tessa, and Gabe
Aren't they so cute with their GIANT bunny ears!

Kaisley all ready for the Egg Hunt!

Hunting for the best eggs!

Easter Morning!
Easter Bunny has come...

Following her trail of eggs the Bunny left behind...I wonder where it's leading to?

down the stairs...
Easter Bunny treated Kaisley really good this year, can't you tell shes happy with what she sees!

Kaisley immediately put on her dress up! She loves to dress up!
Look at that silly face!

Hunting for more eggs...

I know crazy, two baskets...she loves to hunt for eggs so the easter bunny made sure she had a Hunt! Ps. they don't all have candy in the them

Ready for church!

Our attempt for a family Easter Sunday photo...not to bad for a self timer snap shot...

Daddy and Kaisley after church...
We had a wonderful Easter weekend! We celebrated Easter dinner with our wonderful friends Burry, Melissa, Ryan, and The Taylors. We ate a yummy traditional Easter dinner, and finished it off with Melissa's yummy chocolate cake! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter, we miss you!

Kaisley loves dresses!

I love this sweet little girl! She loves to dress up and loves to be the center of attention, like most 2 1/2 year olds. I am so lucky to be this girls Mama!

Ps. Thanks Grandma June for the sweet dress!

Finally an update!

Well I finally feel like I have completely re-grouped from our 3 week stay in Boise...I know, its about time...its been almost 3 weeks since we got home and I finally can say that I am back to my routine! Unfortunately, a few days after we got home I came down with a horrible flu/cold/ear infection...ahhh, that was so awful! I am so GRATEFUL for good health!!! Kaisley also was feeling a little under the weather, she had another ear infection which I had no idea until it was draining nastiness! Either this girly is one tough cookie, or her ear infections don't hurt?? Who knows but she doesn't give me any sign that her ear is bothering her, I only knew she had one because it ruptured. Anyways, we had a wonderful time with everyone back in Idaho, Kaisley keeps asking to go on the airplane to see her grandma and grandpa's, and all of her cousins! If it only were that easy...Kaisley had so much fun playing with her cousins everyday! She is one lucky girl, cause she has a lot of FUN cousins! We miss you all so much:) Here are some photos from our adventures, back home....xo

Here we are at Jabbers, weird name...but really a fun place for all the kiddos to play and release some energy! Lots of gloomy, rainy days in Boise...unfortunately

Kaisley loved the play house, here she is setting the table...

Of course she found the babies...

I just loved this picture of Ford, "fixing the house", so cute...he did this all on his own.

Kaisley dropping by to see the progress on the project ;)

Crazy monkeys!!!
Evan and Kaisley

Congrats, Brian and Megan!!!
We were so happy to be able to be there for your special day!
I love this picture, Brian is sooo in LOVE! I love the way he's looking at his beautiful bride.

Brian, you are so handsome!

The Trio
aren't they so cute!

Kaisley with her roommates...Sammy and Evan. We got to stay under the same roof for a week it was so fun to hangout with the boys, and of course their lovely mama!
Miss you guys!
As much as it is fun to go back and see family, coming home is always the best feeling! Especially since we weren't with our Daddio! Chris didn't get to come along...he was in Dallas for 2 weeks doing a internship at a oral surgery residency, and then we stayed another week so we could stay for the wedding. So we were missing the man in our life! Three weeks is too long! It's so nice to be back together as a family!

Oh bloggly woggly...finally an update!

Wow...a month later and I'm finally posting about Christmas Break!! LameO...I know, but i feel like it has taken me a month to completely get back into the whole groove of things again. Looking back at all the photos reminds me of how much fun we had, like the gingerbread making marathon where me and some of my sisters stayed up til 2 am making our prize winning gingerbread church...lots of fun randomness with all our amazing friends and family!!! I am seriously going a little coo coo here at literally The North Pole! If it wasn't for the -10 degree temperatures and bone chilling wind, maybe we could actually enjoy all the piles and piles of snow outside our door. They actually advise you to not go outside for fear of frostbite...Yikes! Wait, why do we live here...I ask myself that every day! ENOUGH complaining....at least I have a lot of time to do projects inside...Organize...organize...and I have already finished making Kaisleys room into a BIG girl room. That was a lot of fun, I'll show you those pictures soon. Anyways Cheers to a New Year! It's going to be a GOOD one :)

Christmas morning at the Minert's!

Ready for church with DADDY and PAPA!

We all look lovely don't we...This is at 2 am we had all been gingerbreading it up for the past 5+hours! We had a BLAST!

Kaisley hangin' out with all her cousins.

The kiddos even got in on the gingerbread making...they were very proud of their creation.
This is Christmas at our house the day we were suppose to leave...
flight was canceled because of a Blizzard!

Kaisley loves her"Titchen" it was seriously the Best gift Santa could have ever brought! She is always making me or her babies something to eat...this girl is a little baker at heart!
