Could it be....Snow!

We woke-up this morning to like 3 or 4 inches of snow...we couldn't believe it.  I think were in for a very long winter, unfortunately it is only the beginning of October and people in our ward said last year it was a very long winter, saying it lasted until almost July.  Good thing we are moving in May!  We had a lot of fun this weekend hanging out with some couples from Chris's class.  Kaisley even had some little buddies to hang out with, she was the most playful as she pretty much slept the entire night away.  

I think Chris is realizing that maybe it is time to put the scooter away...

Kaisley's Blessing

On October 5th 2008 we blessed our beautiful little girl,  it was such a memorable event having all our family together at Grandma and Grandpa Minert's house.   It was so great having Kaisley blessed in between conferences, thank you to everyone that came.  Kaisley slept the entire time, she is such a good baby Chris and I are so blessed to have her in our lives.

Kaisley and I have been spending the week in Boise while Chris is back in Pocatello taking his mid-term exams in his first year of Dental School...lucky him, we love him so much for making all these sacrifices for us! 1 Week Old...

Kaisley is 1 week old now, do you think she has changed?  I can't believe it was a week ago that I was working on getting her into this world, what an amazing week we have had!  This has been the best and most memorable week of my life, being a mother has already been beautiful, I love it! We just wanted to thank Grandma June for coming to be with us, what a special time we had, we will never forget it.  Mom I made sure to give Kaisley a big hug and kiss for you this morning when she finally woke up at 11am!  Man she is the best baby in the world...and cutiest :)  Well we won't be gone for to long...

Grandma June you are the Best!  We love you soooo much!

Baby....we are ready!!

Hey there everyone, the Minert's are getting used to life here in Poky!  Still no baby minert, but hopefully very soon.  As you can see Chris and I are busy getting the baby's crib put together, and I must say it was a success we didn't have to redo anything...for those of you who know us best we don't have the best luck with putting things together.  Well the finished product was what I wanted but as you can see the nursery is a little plain, I'll put the finishing touches on it when the little guy gets here....

Here I am trying my best to be somewhat helpful...

See the final product, it is great nice and sturdy...who even knows when the baby will get to sleep in it?

Look at my feet...they are back I am so happy!  I think the move was little hard on the feet, but I am so lucky cause I am still prego and they are back to normal, Love it!  Well I am still having a lot of "practice labor", I hope I will see you all soon...cause that will mean I am close to having the babe.  Well Chris is doing awesome, it was really funny this weekend I went into the clinic with him and another guy to help them with impressions, I wish I would have taken my camera, they had that impression material everywhere...but they did really good and Chris didn't even GAG!
