Junk Bonanza 2011!!

While Kristie was is town back it September we headed up to Minneapolis to the wonderful Junk Bonanza! It was so much fun, Kristie and I had a blast looking at all the eye candy and getting inspired everywhere!!! Mary you would have loved it! Railroad carts everywhere I took some photos just for you. I came away with a few treasures one didn't quite make it home...it got to our park space at home and broke, that was really the only bummer the entire weekend...it was pretty much flawless. Thanks Kristie for making the treck all the way to the middle of America i'll never forget it.

Welcome to Kaisley's Bake Shop Party!

The Party was a success and it was a lot of fun too! Kaisley is still talking about her special day. Kaisley is in the kitchen with her mama any chance she can so I thought it was very fitting to have a Bake Shop themed birthday. I know I totally over did it, if it wasn't for Kaisley's amazing Aunt Kristie I would have never pulled it off! Thank you Kristie, you are the BEST!! Kaisley misses you dearly!

It's been waaay too LONGGG!!!

It's amazing how quickly life will pass by ya, I can't believe how absent i've been from the whole blog land...a lot has happened, Kaisley is officially 3, going on 16 she is a sassy one I tell ya:) But is loving life and enjoying it to it's fullest she is now in preschool 2 days a week and enrolled in her first dance class! She loves it and asks everyday if it's time for school or time for dance. It's amazing how much busier you get as your kids get older! Life is wonderful and full of lots of laughter with the Kaisley girl around to always entertain!

Kaisley is happy girl with her new bike...she is a cruiser now, I really need to post a video it is quite hilarious this crazy girl riding a bike with her blond hair riding wild in the wind...she is fearless, only 2 wrecks so far!

A Few projects I've been up to...

Finally I am showing you Kaisleys big girl room! Kaisley loves her new bed, and I had a lot of fun making it special for her! The other project I did would never of happened if it wasn't for my amazing talented mother! While we were home in Boise a few months ago, I had my mom help me sew the cushion cover, well it fit like a glove and I was so pleased with the outcome! After a lot of elbow grease, achy back from bending over in strange positions, lots of sand paper, tons of staples, two coats of nasty toxic stripper, and one can of my new favorite product BRIWAX...I can now say it was all worth it!!

Happy Mother's Day!

I came across this picture today and was reminded of that very special evening I spent with all the women who I love and look up to so dearly...gave me the most encouraging love, support, and most of all inspiration; just a few weeks before I became a Mother.

Being a Mother is the most wonderful calling in the world and I am so happy to have a day to celebrate all the amazing women who have made me the mother I am today. So Mom, Jenelle, Mary, Cindy, Kristie, Emily, Grandma, Fay, Amy, and Julie I am thinking of all of you on this special day...you all have a special place in my heart and have helped me be the woman and mother I am today. I wish we could all celebrate together but we can't and so I just get to pretend ;) I miss you all so much and am so proud and grateful to be apart of such a powerful and loving sisterhood! Happy Mama's Day to you all!

Easter! A week late...

Okay, there are a ton of pictures in this post! We had so many festivities for Easter, I couldn't leave any of them out. Enjoy!

I had a Easter Party for Kaisley and some of her friends, it was a lot of fun...but I think Kaisley may appreciate it more when shes a little older, having 5 extra kiddos around in one room doing "projects", is a bit challenging I must admit...All in all it was so much fun.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend! We celebrated Easter dinner with our wonderful friends Burry, Melissa, Ryan, and The Taylors. We ate a yummy traditional Easter dinner, and finished it off with Melissa's yummy chocolate cake! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter, we miss you!
